DOGE to $1 vs. XRP to $10 – Which altcoin hits its dream target first?
DOGE has a better chance of fronting a massive run compared to XRP, per technical indicators.
The Option market was more bullish on the $4-$5 price zone and cautious about the $9-$10 target.

Well, Dogecoin [DOGE] and Ripple [XRP] will have Spot ETF approvals, giving them access to institutional investors. But which one would hit its psychological level first in case of an explosive run?
AMBCrypto plotted the XRP/DOGE ratio, which gauges relative price performance between XRP and DOGE over time.
According to the chart, XRP has outperformed DOGE by over 500% since late 2024. However, since 2022, the ratio has always topped out at the trendline resistance.
As of press time, it formed a double top pattern, suggesting that XRP’s outperformance may soon fade out.

With the recent pro-crypto regulatory tailwind, XRP easily outperformed most assets. But the ETFs’ approval is baked in for DOGE and XRP.
So, without key catalysts, if the ratio drops lower to 3, that would imply about $1 per DOGE. In other words, DOGE has more room for growth than XRP at current levels and per the XRP/DOGE ratio.
On the Options market, the chances of XRP hitting $9 were below 5% let alone $10. In fact, Options traders were more optimistic about $4-$5 price target by the end of 2025.

Simply put, the $10 psychological level may remain elusive for XRP for a while.
However, a surprise catalyst that removes a huge chunk of XRP’s 100 billion token supply would increase the odds of hitting the $10 target.
That said, both assets were about 230% away from the $1 and $10 psychological targets. But for DOGE, breaking from the multi-year compression could raise the odds of rallying to $0.9 or $1.

Overall, XRP outperformed DOGE by over 500% thanks to a regulatory tailwind in 2024. With no more catalysts ahead for XRP, DOGE could surpass it.
