Binance to drop Ronaldo’s 2nd NFT collection on July 3

Binance emerged as a top crypto exchange where users can trade cryptocurrencies and stay up-to-date with the current prices of digital assets. The platform also provides valuable information on different crypto-related aspects, such as how to buy ethereum.

Binance is now joining forces with Cristiano Ronaldo, the football maestro, to launch ForeverCR7: The GOAT, the 2nd NFT collection from their multi-year partnership.

The collection, which will be available on July 3, comprises more than 29,000 NFTs, and it is meant to immortalize Ronaldo’s goal scoring moments by turning them into digital NFTs which offer a range of great benefits to holders, including the opportunity to have a training session with the professional footballer.

First drop of CR7 NFT: A real success

Ronaldo’s partnership with Binance started seven months ago, with the first drop of the CR7 NFT happening in November 2022. The collection consisted of seven premium statues in four rarity tiers, including Super Super Rare, Super Rare, Rare, and Normal, and an exclusive gift for new Binance users: a mystery box collection.

Each of the NFTs was a digital statue symbolizing Ronaldo’s iconic moments from his career, offering different perks, including a virtual meet and greet session with Ronaldo and the opportunity to win Binance and Ronaldo merch through a giveaway entry.

Unsurprisingly, the drop was very successful, with all the premium-level NFTs being sold out in the first week after their launch at a price of $22,800.

According to Yi He, Binance’s Co-Founder, after witnessing the tremendous success of Ronaldo’s first NFT collection drop, the company wanted to create more value for the NFT community by introducing a new collection.

The CR7 NFT collection not only captures milestones from Ronaldo’s career but also shows the potential of Web 3.0 to transform the entertainment and sports industry. Fans who have already bought CR7 NFTs from the 2022 collection can enjoy incredible benefits: they can receive extra NFT Mystery Boxes from the first drop and high-rarity NFTs from the second drop of the CR7 collection.

Among the seven Super Super Rare NFTs, six will be sold at auction on Binance’s NFT marketplace, which will be open for 48 hours. The highest bidder will get the NFTs, with bidding prices starting at $15,000. The other SSR NFT will be offered as a prize in a future giveaway.
