ML глазами практика и препода: новая парадигма в обработке знаний или хайп?

Меня зовут Андрей Иванов, я занимаюсь технологиями искусственного интеллекта последние лет 8: сейчас работаю в MWS AI и преподаю различные дисциплины, связанные с ИИ. На недавнем Codefest мои коллеги провели опрос разработчиков, который показал, что многие из них (большинство) главным драйвером развития всей сферы информационных технологий считают как раз ИИ, точнее — машинное обучение. Действительно, об этой технологии сейчас вещают все инфлюенсеры от мала до велика и из каждого утюга, причем с разной степенью понимания того, что конкретно она меняет в нашем мире. А на самом ли деле ИИ настолько влиятелен, что его можно ставить в один ряд с изобретением колеса, и нет ли тут очередного раздутого пузыря завышенных ожиданий? Я тут поразмышлял над этим вопросом в философском, научном и практическом аспектах. Мои размышления вылились сразу в два текста — этот первый.

Современный ML — это не очередной фреймворк или библиотека, а квинтэссенция математики, программирования, вычислительных мощностей и данных

Он вобрал в себя все лучшее из смежных областей. По данным исследования AI Index 2025 от Stanford HAI, на исследования по ИИ уже приходится 41,8% всех научных публикаций в области компьютерных наук — больше, чем на любую другую тему в CS. Тысячи экспертов по всему миру придумывают архитектуры нейросетей, методы оптимизации и математические трюки. И результат налицо: за десять-пятнадцать лет Deep Machine Learning (ака нейросети) прошел путь от научной нишевой забавы до сверх-хайповой технологии мирового масштаба. Искусственный интеллект уже сегодня стал частью повседневной жизни, а к 2030 году его вклад в мировую экономику может достичь 15,7 трлн $. Такое стремительное превращение «‎из Золушки в принцессу»‎ стало возможным именно благодаря глубокой научной базе под капотом — предложен принципиально иной подход к тому, как мы управляем поведением машин.

Теперь мы пишем код не явно, а через данные. Вместо того, чтобы вручную задавать логику, мы показываем машине примеры, а она сама находит зависимости и формирует решение в виде модели. Да, подобные подходы использовались и раньше, но современные нейросети вывели гибкость на следующий уровень. Мы вдруг получили инструмент, который способен решать такие задачи, где явно алгоритм решения прописать либо слишком сложно, либо вообще невозможно. И этот подход настолько мощный, что мы сами еще не до конца осознали, насколько широкий круг проблем сможем покрыть, задавая поведение машин через данные. В этом смысле машинное обучение не просто технология, а качественно новый шаг в эволюции методов разработки программ.

ML интересен еще и тем, что это сфера, где теория и практика развиваются одновременно и очень быстро

В классических науках часто бывает долгий период созревания: теоретики наблюдают за реальностью, выдвигают гипотезы, иногда десятилетиями закладывают фундаментальные основы дисциплины, и лишь потом появляются практические применения. С ML все было иначе: как только родилась идея нейронных сетей, энтузиасты тут же попытались воплотить ее на практике. Уже в конце 1950-х — начале 1960-х были построены Перцептрон Розенблатта и ADALINE Бернарда Уидроу — это первые вычислительные машины, вдохновленные открытой накануне идеей нейросетей. Они работали, но быстро упирались в дефицит и сложность реальных данных и вошли в историю скорее лабораторными экспериментами. Но важно, что исторически прогресс пошел одновременно по двум осям: теоретическая база и алгоритмы усложнялись, а компьютеры становились мощнее. Появление мобильного интернета окончательно решило проблему данных.

Сейчас мы подошли к моменту, когда «железо» (GPU, TPU и облака) наконец-то догнало амбиции экспертов, а данных накопилось столько, что можно натаскивать модели практически в любой сфере человеческой деятельности. Поэтому мы наблюдаем не просто прогресс, а непрерывный исследовательский рывок: новые архитектуры, статьи и открытия появляются буквально каждый день и тут же проверяются на практике. Это пример науки в движении — ее толкают вперед не только академические интересы, но и практический азарт разработчиков вместе с подоспевшим интересом инвесторов и корпораций.

При этом концепция нейронных сетей по сути вообще ничего не говорит о конкретном их назначении, задавая лишь базовые правила их создания. Отсюда беспрецедентная широта применения, можно сказать, нейросети — это почти универсальный метод решения вычислительных проблем. Сегодня ИИ — это не только про тексты или картинки, к которым все уже привыкли. Область разрослась так, что уже невозможно сосчитать все ее направления. Чат-боты и агенты на основе LLM — это лишь верхушка айсберга. Есть еще сотни других активных направлений науки и практики: от распознавания речи до контроля роботов. От маленьких примочек до ML-систем индустриального масштаба.

Фактически любая отрасль экономики и знаний получила в руки новый мощный инструмент. Но пока мы можем использовать его в основном, чтобы лучше организовать и применять уже известные знания и навыки: модели помогают обрабатывать информацию лучше человека, без усталости и с большим охватом, способны отвечать на наши запросы в любое время дня и ночи. Даже синтез контента часто упирается в стеклянный потолок чего-то очень мейнстримного. Однако самое перспективное, к чему все стремятся, — это синтез новых знаний или автоматический поиск новых решений. Наука об интеллекте, заложенная в ML, открывает возможность когда-нибудь получить от алгоритмов инсайты, недоступные человеку, совершать открытия там, где коллективный мозг человечества уже не справляется.

В этом смысле, исследуя ИИ, человечество пытается разгадать одну из величайших и на удивление молчаливых загадок природы: природу разума. И каждый новый шаг в машинном обучении — это не только прикладной результат, но и вклад в понимание сути интеллекта.

ИИ влияет не только на код и науку, но и на философию с этикой

Еще вчера казалось, что в плане этики программирование — штука нейтральная: пишешь себе код, часто в очень узком участке большого проекта, и особенно не задумываешься о морали. Конечно, были тревожные эпизоды (от Morris Worm 1988 года до Stuxnet в 2010-м), но они воспринимались как редкие инциденты и скорее «где-то в интернете», и во всяком случае не становились повседневной этической дилеммой для большинства разработчиков.

А вот с развитием ИИ все изменилось. Едва люди увидели, на что потенциально способны продвинутые алгоритмы, в повестку ворвались вопросы:
- Этично ли то, что мы делаем?
- Не потеряем ли мы контроль?
- Что вообще будет с человечеством, когда машины поумнеют еще больше?

Этические дебаты начались задолго до массового внедрения технологий — например, в докладе The Malicious Use of AI в 2018 году обсуждались риски злоупотребления ИИ, а спустя 5 лет в открытом письме Future of Life Institute ученые и предприниматели уже явно призывали приостановить разработку мощных ИИ-моделей.

Почему так случилось? Возможно, потому что искусственный интеллект затрагивает фундаментальные представления о роли разума и ответственности. В погоне за созданием систем, которые учатся и принимают решения сами, мы как будто берем на себя роль творцов. Причем творцов не пассивных, а вполне динамичных вещей, таких, которые могут действовать разумно и автономно, что в принципе ранее доступно было только самим людям.

Это тебе не простой софт, который строго выполняет заложенные инструкции. Слишком продвинутая модель или система может найти решение, до которого человек не додумался, или начать вести себя совсем не так, как мы ожидали. Отсюда естественный страх: а вдруг такая технология выйдет из-под контроля или, может быть, еще хуже, будет использована во вред людям? Поэтому в сфере искусственного интеллекта вопросы этики и гуманизма быстро перемещаются из фонового шума и книжных страшилок в список ключевых тем обсуждения. Мало кто раньше призывал «писать код морально и правильно», но с ИИ сегодня это базовая часть процесса. Проиллюстрирую этот поинт скрином с Hugging Face о политике безопасности Stability AI:

ИИ действительно может существенно усилить дисбаланс в обществе и стать источником новых социальных/экономических/политических проблем, если пойдет в своем развитии не туда и станет оружием, а не орудием. Хорошо, что все эти угрозы осознаются и обсуждаются уже сейчас.

В случае с AI мы начали задумываться о последствиях заранее, и это, на мой взгляд, огромный плюс текущей ситуации

Даже рядовые разработчики все чаще задумываются о последствиях своей работы — по данным опроса Stack Overflow, тысячи инженеров выражают обеспокоенность прозрачностью и ответственным применением ИИ. Искусственный интеллект заставил нас пересмотреть взгляд на сознание, интеллект и ответственность человека за технологии — и это, пожалуй, самый неожиданный эффект от появления обычных, казалось бы, математических алгоритмов.

Помимо глобальных вещей, искусственный интеллект меняет сам процесс разработки и ИТ-культуру

Особенно интересно сравнить классический девелопмент и ML-проекты. Традиционные ИТ ко многому уже пришли: устоявшиеся Agile-фреймворки, понятные роли в командах, отлаженные CI/CD, почти рутинные циклы релизов. Типичный software project — это вполне предсказуемый конвейер, идущий по рельсам: планирование, спринты, тестирование, формирование релизов и поставка. Если делаешь мобильное приложение или веб-сервис, примерно представляешь, какие специалисты нужны, сколько времени займут задачи, как отслеживать прогресс и сколько это может стоить. С приходом ML в продукты эта определенность пошатнулась.

Machine Learning живет по своим законам, которые диктуются особенностями процесса создания нейросетей

Как встроить его в привычный Agile-процесс, может быть не очевидно: во-первых, у ML-команд другие циклы разработки. Процесс больше похож на научное исследование: нужно понять проблему, выдвинуть гипотезы, собрать данные, подготовить датасет, натренировать сетку (что само по себе может занять недели), подобрать параметры обучения — и так по кругу, пока не добьешься приемлемого качества.

Результат каждого цикла не гарантирован: можно неделю гонять обучение и получить вариант, который работает хуже предыдущего. Во-вторых, критерии готовности и успеха в ML-проектах плавающие. Нет четких «сдал в тест — получил 100% прохождение». Точнее, привычный вспомогательный код вокруг модели можно покрыть тестами и добиться стопроцентного прохождения, а вот сама система все равно выдает лишь примерный результат. Даже финальная метрика качества — это процент точности или ошибок, но никогда не бывает идеальных и на 100% правильных ответов. Подготовка итоговой модели к релизу тоже может быть нетривиальной задачей, нейросети ведь часто очень прожорливы в плане вычислительных ресурсов, подготовка и отладка приемлемого варианта поставки может занимать месяцы и требовать участия дополнительных команд.

Поэтому выпустить ИИ в продакшн — всегда означает принять риск того, что что-то пойдет не так. Нужно сразу закладывать допуски, оговаривать отработку сценариев на случай неточности. В общем, много важных вопросов.

Из-за этого интеграция ML-группы в классическую продуктовую команду — задача непростая. На практике ML-инженеры нередко работают обособленно, параллельным треком. В свое время я управлял ML-группой внутри компании. Наш фокус был на поиск и адаптацию новых идей, а главной задачей — создавать базовые и специальные модели распознавания речи для масштабного NLP-продукта: на планировании нас часто выделяли отдельно, потому что многие наши задачи плохо бились на привычные юзер-стори или могли идти вперед текущего состояния проекта.

Пока остальные делали понятные фичи с четкими критериями готовности, мы копались в данных, перебирали и модернизировали модели, не зная заранее, получится ли из этого что-то пригодное. Но когда наконец добивались результата, это приносило продукту качественный скачок, который, я убежден, традиционной разработкой не получить. Так что компании учатся работать в гибридном режиме: Agile ради общей координации плюс исследовательский подход для ML-части.

Как отмечается в одном из недавних обзоров практик разработки ИИ, все больше команд комбинируют четкие продуктовые процессы с гибкостью, необходимой для экспериментальной работы над моделями. Это мощный вызов для менеджеров и тимлидов, но компании постепенно находят рабочие форматы и учатся справляться с новой реальностью.

Кроме методологии, в ИТ меняются и сами инструменты, и требования к специалистам

Скажем, раньше тестировщик ожидал, что программа при прочих равных всегда выдает одинаковый результат. Если где-то что-то случайно меняется – значит баг. С ML такая логика работает далеко не всегда: одна и та же модель может отвечать чуть по-разному на похожие запросы. Например, генерируемая картинка каждый раз выйдет немного иной, даже если запрос одинаков (если только жестко не зафиксировать источник случайности). Получается, QA теперь должен уметь мыслить в терминах вероятностей и допусков, а не абсолютной детерминированности. Во всяком случае иметь ввиду особенности тестируемых алгоритмов, а не только контракт системы.

Наконец, ИИ немного сглаживает границы между уровнями специалистов. Сейчас появились инструменты, которые помогают писать код и генерировать решения почти “под ключ” автоматически. В итоге разработчики среднего уровня могут работать почти так же продуктивно, как сеньоры, если умеют правильно пользоваться тем же GitHub Copilot, Cursor или ChatGPT. Во всяком случае становится важным умение ставить задачу и контролировать выполнение.

Рутинные участки кода дописываются машиной, тебе остается творческая часть и проверка. Конечно, полностью заменить опыт и архитектурное видение это не может, но эффект и растущее качество впечатляют. Новичку, правда, такие штуки могут даже вредить — джун может бездумно принимать подсказки и не понимать, что происходит, или еще хуже — убить репозиторий бесконтрольными правками агента.

Так что тут тоже трансформация: меняются требования к подготовке специалистов, менторинг включает в себя освоение ИИ. В любом случае мы внутри индустрии ощущаем изменения: процессы разработки адаптируются под ML, команды обзаводятся новыми ролями, а программисты осваивают свежие инструменты. И хотя классическая айтишка никуда не делась, мы все так же пишем приложения, поднимаем бэкенды — теперь все это происходит гораздо быстрее и гибче, если правильно подружиться с искусственным интеллектом.

За пределами ИТ: что дальше?

В этом тексте я поделился тем, почему, как мне кажется, ИИ и Machine Learning стали центральной темой внутри самой ИТ-отрасли. Но влияние ИИ не ограничивается программированием или работой айтишников. Самое интересное начинается, когда ML выходит за пределы ИТ-сферы.

По сути, ML проникает во все отрасли, решая задачи, которые раньше считались слишком сложными или ресурсозатратными. В образовании появляются персональные электронные ассистенты для каждого студента, а обучающий контент генерируется с помощью ИИ под нужды конкретного человека. В энергетике ИИ участвует в оптимизации потребления, предсказании нагрузок, поиске новых материалов для батарей и пр. В медицине технология используется в огромном числе задач — от интерпретации рентгеновских снимков до роботов-ассистентов на операциях.

Мы стоим на пороге эпохи, когда ИИ станет таким же привычным инфраструктурным фактором, как электричество или интернет. Он уже меняет наше представление о будущем: от того, как мы будем работать и учиться, до того, как будем лечиться и потреблять ресурсы. И это только начало.
